Cirebon — The Head of the Islamic History and Culture Study Program (SKI), Faculty of Adab and Cultural Sciences (FADIB), UIN Sunan Kalijaga Yogyakarta, Fatiyah, M.A., attended the meeting of the Association Forum of Indonesian Islamic History Study Programs (APSII) which was held as part of the ADIA International Conference 2026 series. This activity took place on Wednesday-Saturday, July 22-25, 2026, at UIN Siber Syekh Nurjati Cirebon.

The APSII Forum brings together heads of study programs as well as lecturers from Islamic History and Culture and History of Islamic Civilization study programs from various universities in Indonesia. In the forum, the participants discussed and had an intensive dialogue to formulate the direction of study program development in the midst of the rapid development of the digital world.

Fatiyah's presence in this forum is part of the efforts of the SKI FADIB UIN Sunan Kalijaga Study Program to continue to establish communication and collaboration with similar study programs throughout Indonesia, as well as absorb various ideas regarding the transformation of the curriculum, learning methods, and scientific orientation of Islamic history that are adaptive to the needs of the digital age.

The series of ADIA International Conference 2026 and the APSII Forum is expected to strengthen the synergy between Islamic history and civilization study programs within PTKIN and PTKIS, as well as become a space for exchanging ideas in formulating policies and strategies for scientific development that are relevant to future challenges.
